AES contemplates senior secured notes issue

Chicago, May 12 – AES Corp. announced that it will hold one or more meetings with potential investors about a proposed offering of senior notes, according to a press release.

The company may or may not ultimately issue the notes.

The issuer is an Arlington, Va.-based power company.
