Fitch gives Central Finance debentures A+(lka)

Fitch Ratings said it has assigned Central Finance Co. plc's proposed senior debentures of up to LKR 600 million a national long-term rating of A+(lka).

The issue is rated at the same level as the company's national long-term rating of A+(lka), which has a stable outlook, the agency said.

This is in compliance with Fitch's rating criteria on senior unsecured bond instruments of financial institutions.

According to the agency, the rating factors in the company's relatively strong financial profile in Sri Lanka's registered finance company sector.
