Central Bank of India raises Rs. 5 billion tier 2 series 5 bonds

Olympia, Wash., March 20 – Central Bank of India raised Rs. 5 billion of Basel III-compliant non-convertible redeemable unsecured tier 2 series 5 bonds in the form of promissory notes, according to a notice.

The board of directors approved the issuance on Feb. 4.

Central Bank of India is a commercial bank based in Mumbai.
