Kazakhstan's Central Asian Electric Energy places no 10-year floaters

Madison, Wis., Dec. 2 - Central Asian Electric Energy Corp. held a special trading session on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange on Nov. 29 to place KZT 2 billion of floating-rate bonds due 2023. No bonds were placed due to an insufficient number of participants, according to a notice.

On Nov. 6, the company had registered to issue KZT 10 billion of the 10-year floating-rate bonds.

The current coupon rate is 6%.

Active orders were received for KZT 198.2 million of bonds at Friday's session.

The energy company is based in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
