CenterPoint to pay additional interest on 2% ZENS exchangeable notes

New York, July 7 – CenterPoint Energy, Inc. said it will pay additional interest on its 2% zero-premium exchangeable subordinated notes due 2029.

Holders of record as of the close of business on July 10 will receive additional interest of $1.45206 per ZENS note on July 24, and holders as of the close on July 14 will receive additional interest of $0.82069 per ZENS notes.

The July 24 payment reflects cash distributed as part of the closing of Verizon Communications Inc.’s acquisition of AOL Inc., according to a news release.

Cash distributed after the completion of Verizon’s acquisition of AOL is reflected in the second payment.

CenterPoint is a Houston-based energy delivery company.
