CenterPoint Energy repays in full $500 million term loan due 2024

Los Angeles, May 4 – CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp. repaid in full $500 million of borrowings under its term loan agreement dated Feb. 16 with Mizuho Bank, Ltd. as administrative agent, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company terminated the term loan on May 4. The loan was scheduled to mature on Feb. 15, 2024.

The company did not incur any penalties in connection with the early termination.

CenterPoint Energy is a public utility holding company based in Houston.
