Aegon to redeem $1 billion 6.375% perpetual notes on Dec. 15

Los Angeles, Oct. 24 – Aegon NV announced it plans to redeem its $1 billion 6.375% perpetual capital securities issued in 2005.

The grandfathered tier 1 securities will be redeemed in full on Dec. 15 at par plus accrued interest.

Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee. Citibank, NA is the paying agent.

The financial services company is based in The Hague.
