Thrasio’s disclosure statement draws objection from U.S. trustee

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., April 12 – Thrasio Holdings, Inc.’s disclosure statement for its Chapter 11 plan drew an objection from Regions 3 and 9 U.S. trustee Andrew R. Vara, according to documents filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

Vara said the plan and disclosure statement are “replete with blanks and incomplete information,” including the projected allowed amount of general unsecured claims and the estimated recovery to general unsecured creditors.

In addition, the disclosure statement does not provide sufficient information for a creditor to decide whether to opt out of the third-party release, Vara said.

Thrasio is a Walpole, Mass.-based aggregator of e-commerce brands that operates within Amazon’s third-party marketplace. The company filed bankruptcy on Feb. 28 under Chapter 11 case number 24-11840.
