Hornblower gets nod to sell river vessel assets to American Cruise Lines

Olympia, Wash., April 4 – Hornblower Cruises and Events, Inc. received approval to sell its river vessel assets to American Cruise Lines, Inc., according to an order filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

The purchase price is $6.3 million in cash for four vessels, their related furnishings and spares, and certain other related assets.

Hornblower is a San Francisco-based cruise and event company. The company filed bankruptcy on Feb. 21 under Chapter 11 case number 24-90087.
