Moody’s assigns Solventum notes Baa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned Solventum Corp.’s new senior unsecured notes Baa3.

“There are no changes to the existing ratings including the Baa3 issuer rating, and the outlook is unchanged at stable,” the agency said in a statement.

The proceeds will be used to pay 3M Co. a dividend in connection with Solventum's pending spinoff and for related fees and expenses.
