Turkey’s sovereign wealth fund preps dollar benchmark bond offering

Chicago, Feb. 5 – Turkiye Varlik Fonu (//B) is preparing to offer its first dollar-denominated senior benchmark bond issue, according to a sellside source.

The tenor on the new bonds is expected to be five years.

Investor meetings for the Regulation S-only offering started on Monday.

BBVA, JPMorgan and Standard Chartered Bank will be joint global coordinators and bookrunners.

They will be joined by BofA Securities, Emirates NBD Capital, ICBC, ING, QNB Capital and Societe Generale as joint bookrunners.

The issuer is the sovereign wealth fund for the republic of Turkey.
