Aearo repurchases $2 million notes

New York, Jan. 30 - Aearo Corp. said it repurchased $2 million of its senior subordinated notes due 2005 leaving it with $98 million outstanding.

The company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it bought back the debt after obtaining an amendment to its credit agreement allowing it to make up to $10 million of repurchases at or below par between Oct. 17, 2001 and Dec. 21, 2001.
