Hello Bello seeks 90-day extension of exclusive plan periods

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Feb. 20 – Hello Bello is seeking an extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to a motion filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company asked the court to extend the exclusive plan filing period by 90 days through May 20 and the exclusive solicitation period by 90 days through July 22.

Hello Bello said that since starting the Chapter 11 case, the sale process has required significant effort from the debtors and their advisers.

The company said the complexity and relatively short duration of these Chapter 11 cases warrants the extension so that the debtors may continue to focus their efforts on negotiating, finalizing and filing a viable plan, including by negotiating with the official committee of unsecured creditors.

A hearing is scheduled for March 6.

Pacific Palisades, Calif.-based Hello Bello filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Oct. 23 under case number 23-11759.
