Alpha Plus issues redemption notice for 5% secured bonds due 2024

Chicago, Oct. 12 – Alpha Plus Holdings Ltd. issued an early redemption notice for the £130 million of 5% secured bonds due March 31, 2024 (ISIN: XS1379593566), according to a notice.

The bonds were issued on March 31, 2016.

The company will redeem all of the bonds that remain outstanding on Nov. 13 at par.

Potentially, there could have been a premium. The company consulted Allia C&C and determined that the U.K. Treasury due 2024 was the reference security and calculated the redemption price accordingly.

Unpaid interest will be paid up to the repayment date.

The London-based holding company is related to Alpha Plus Group, an operator of schools and nurseries in the United Kingdom. The company was recently sold, a transaction that closed on Oct. 11.
