Former iMedia receives exclusivity extension; plan hearing moved

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 19 – Legacy IMBDS, Inc., formerly iMedia Brands, Inc., received a second extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The court extend the exclusive plan filing period by 30 days through Feb. 8 and the exclusive solicitation period by 30 days through April 8.

Legacy said the debtors are requesting the extensions to allow enough time to modify, revise or refile the plan and resolicit votes, if needed.

The company’s plan confirmation was also extended to Feb. 21 from Jan. 23.

iMedia Brands is an interactive media company based in Eden Prairie, Minn. The company filed bankruptcy on June 28, 2023 under Chapter 11 case number 23-10852.
