UpHealth Holdings receives extension of exclusive plan periods
By Sarah Lizee
Olympia, Wash., Jan. 24 – UpHealth Holdings, Inc. secured an extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Specifically, the court extended the exclusive plan filing period through April 30 and the exclusive solicitation period through July 1.
The company said that in the three months that it has been in Chapter 11, it has received approval to transition its Thrasys, Inc. business to its customers, obtained approval of post-petition use of cash collateral, and handled the various other tasks related to the administration of the debtors’ estates.
UpHealth said accomplishing these tasks within three months has been a labor-intensive process and has fully occupied the debtors’ time.
UpHealth, a Delray Beach, Fla.-based digital health company, filed bankruptcy on Sept. 19 under Chapter 11 case number 23-11476.
