Noble House Home Furnishings receives exclusivity extension

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 30 – Noble House Home Furnishings LLC secured an extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to a motion filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Specifically, the court extended the exclusive plan filing period through April 8 from Jan. 8 and the exclusive solicitation period through June 7 from March 9.

Noble House said the debtors have sold most of their operating assets and are aiming to formulate a plan of liquidation or to otherwise resolve the Chapter 11 cases.

The company said the extension will allow it to work toward consensus across the debtors’ creditor constituencies.

The Chatsworth, Calif.-based home furniture company filed bankruptcy on Sept. 11 under Chapter 11 case number 23-90773.
