Prospect News reports four new defaults for Aug. 17-Aug. 23

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 25 – Prospect News reported four new defaults for Aug. 17 through Aug. 23.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 filings made by Orbital Infrastructure Group Inc. and the Roman Catholic Archbishop of San Francisco, a Chapter 15 made by China Evergrande Group, and a missed interest payment by Anagram International, Inc. and Anagram Holdings, LLC, which are non-debtor subsidiaries of Party City Holdco Inc.

So far in 2023, Prospect News has reported 172 defaults, including 115 Chapter 11 filings, 21 missed interest payments, 12 missed principal and interest payments, five CCAA filings, four Chapter 15 filings, three missed principal payments, two each of conciliations, Chapter 7 filings, missed interest payments paid within a grace period and recapitalizations, and one each of reorganizations, liquidations and judicial reorganizations.

The two debtors that filed Chapter 11 during the week reported at least $124.19 million in assets and at least $325.85 million in debt collectively.
