Prospect News reports three new defaults for Aug. 10-Aug. 16

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 18 – Prospect News reported three new defaults for Aug. 10 through Aug. 16.
Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 filings made by Grupo Hima San Pablo Inc., Nashville Senior Care, LLC and Condor Inversiones SpA.
Prospect News also reported a Chapter 11 filing made by Novation Cos., Inc., but the company had previously filed bankruptcy and later emerged from those proceedings in 2017.
So far in 2023, Prospect News has reported 167 defaults, including 112 Chapter 11 filings, 20 missed interest payments, 12 missed principal and interest payments, five CCAA filings, four Chapter 15 filings, three missed principal payments, two each of conciliations, Chapter 7 filings, missed interest payments paid within a grace period and recapitalizations, and one each of reorganizations, liquidations and judicial reorganizations.
The companies that filed Chapter 11 during the week reported at least $650.05 million in assets and at least $350 million in debt collectively.
