Proterra debtor reports $23.09 million September loss from operations

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 25 – Proterra Inc. debtor Proterra Operating Co., Inc. reported a $23.09 million loss from operations on $14.67 million of total net revenue for September, according to a monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

To compare, the debtor reported a $9.26 million loss from operations on $21.4 million of total net revenue for August.

The net loss for the September period was $36.42 million, compared to a net gain of $70.63 million in August.

The debtor listed $112.76 million in cash and cash equivalents at the end of September, up from $34.23 million at the end of August.

Burlingame, Calif.-based Proterra designs and manufactures zero-emission electric transit vehicles and EV technology solutions for commercial applications. The company filed bankruptcy on Aug. 7 under Chapter 11 case number 23-11120.
