Lordstown Motors receives extension of exclusive plan periods

Olympia, Wash., March 8 – Lordstown Motors Corp. received another extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company had asked the court to extend both the exclusive plan filing period and the exclusive solicitation period through April 1 from Jan. 31.

The company’s Chapter 11 plan was confirmed on Wednesday, as previously reported.

The Lordstown, Ohio-based electric vehicle maker filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on June 27, 2023 under case number 23-10831.
