Bpifrance hosts meetings for 10-year benchmark green bond offering

Chicago, June 14 – BpiFrance (Aa2/AA-) started investor meetings on Wednesday regarding its updated green bond framework and a potential new green bond offering, according to a market source.

The issuer is considering a new euro-denominated benchmark transaction.

The offering would be guaranteed by EPIC Bpifrance.

BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole CIB, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, JPMorgan and Societe Generale have been chosen as joint lead managers.

Credit Agricole CIB is listed as the green structuring adviser.

Proceeds will be used to finance eligible projects. The company is aiming to finance solar and wind projects, green building projects and financing for Greentech firms that meet the eligibility criteria in the framework.

Meetings are expected to conclude on Friday.

The issuer is a French public investment bank, formed by the joint venture of Caisse des depots et consignations and EPIC BPI-Groupe.
