Vistra launches offering of benchmark-sized P-Caps

Chicago, June 6 – Vistra Corp. launched an offering of benchmark-sized pre-capitalized trust securities, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company formed Palomino Funding Trust I, and the new trust will issue the securities.

Proceeds will be invested in a portfolio of U.S. Treasury securities. Vistra may issue to the trust senior secured notes in consideration for the eligible assets of the trust.

Vistra is an integrated retail electricity and power generation company based in Irving, Tex.
