Christmas Tree Shops records $4.84 million net loss for May

Olympia, Wash., June 26 – Christmas Tree Shops, LLC reported a $4.84 million net loss for May on $23.26 million of gross income/sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company listed $13.01 million in cost of goods sold and $12.83 million in selling expenses.

The cash balance at the end of the month was $1.49 million.

Middleborough, Mass.-based Christmas Tree Shops sells home goods with a specialty focus on seasonal products. The company filed bankruptcy on May 5 under Chapter 11 case number 23-10576.
