Prospect News reports five new defaults for March 9-March 15

Olympia, Wash., March 17 – Prospect News reported five new defaults for March 9 through March 15.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 filings made by Diamond Sports Group LLC, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany, New York, Loyalty Ventures Inc. and Ryze Renewables Las Vegas, LLC/Ryze Renewables II, LLC, and a CCAA filing made by Loyalty Ventures’ subsidiary LoyaltyOne, Co.

So far in 2023, Prospect News has reported 56 defaults, including 36 Chapter 11 filings, seven missed principal and interest payments, six missed interest payments, two CCAA filings, and one each of judicial reorganizations, notices of intention under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada), Chapter 15 filings, Chapter 7 filings, and missed interest payments paid within a grace period.

The companies that filed Chapter 11 during the week together reported at least $2.7 billion in assets and $10.13 billion in liabilities.
