Adani Green Energy eyes $410 million of refinancing bonds

Los Angeles, Dec. 8 – Adani Green Energy (UP) Ltd. plans to issue $410 million of fixed-rate medium-term notes with a tenor of 18 years, according to a term sheet.

Parampujya Solar Energy Private Ltd. and Prayatna Developers Private Ltd. will also be issuers.

The offering may be increased if oversubscribed.

MUFG Securities Asia Ltd. and Standard Chartered Bank will act as underwriters.

The purpose of the issuance is to refinance senior debt, namely Adani’s $500 million of 6¼% bonds due Dec. 10, 2024.

Adani is a renewable energy company based in Ahmedabad, India.
