Prospect News reports seven new defaults for Jan. 19-Jan.25

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 27 – Prospect News reported seven new defaults for the period of Jan. 19 through Jan. 25.

Prospect News reported Chapter 11 filings made by 225 Bowery LLC, Heritage Power LLC, Serta Simmons Bedding LLC, Rockley Photonics Holdings Ltd. and Genesis Global Holdco, LLC, and missed interest payments on Huijing Holdings Co. Ltd.’s 12½% senior notes due 2023 and Tangerine Pomelo Group, SAPI de CV’s 10¼% senior notes due 2024.

So far in 2023, Prospect News has reported 22 defaults, including 15 Chapter 11 filings, five missed interest payments and two missed principal and interest payments.

The companies that filed Chapter 11 during the week reported at least $1.34 billion in assets and at least $6.77 billion in debt collectively.
