Savannah Energy will acquire Petronas with cash, debt

Chicago, Dec. 12 – Savannah Energy plc announced the proposed acquisition of Petronas International Corp. for $1.25 billion.

The cash consideration is expected to be financed through a combination of the enlarged group’s available cash resources and debt.

The assets being acquired include three joint operating companies in South Sudan.

Savannah Energy is a British independent energy company.
