Montana Tunnels Mining files bankruptcy with over $50 million in debt

Olympia, Wash., Dec. 5 – Montana Tunnels Mining, Inc. filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Montana.

In its petition, the company listed $10 million to $50 million in assets and $50 million to $100 million in liabilities.

A creditor meeting is scheduled for Jan. 17.

The Jefferson City, Mont.-based mining company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy under case number 22-20132.
