Urban Commons 2 West set to mediate issues related to asset sale

Olympia, Wash., July 6 – Urban Commons 2 West LLC is set to mediate disputes related to the sale of its assets to BPC Lender LLC, according to an order filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The parties to the mediation are the debtors, BPC Lender, Battery Park City Authority, Hotel & Gaming Trades Council, AFL-CIO and the Residential Board of Managers of Millennium Point Condominium.

The mediation is set to take place on July 11, and if needed, July 12.

Urban Commons is a Corona Del Mar, Calif.-based company that modernizes underperforming hotels. The company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Nov. 15, 2022 under case number 22-11509.
