Obstetric and Gynecologic Associates trustee cannot appoint committee

Chicago, Dec. 21 – The trustee in the Obstetric and Gynecologic Associates of Iowa City case notified the court that she has been unable to appoint a committee of unsecured creditors due to lack of interest despite attempts at solicitation, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Iowa.

Region 12 U.S. trustee Mary R. Jensen said that she reserves the right to appoint a committee in the event sufficient interest is generated.

The obstetric and gynecologic clinic is based in Coralville, Iowa. The company filed bankruptcy on Oct. 31 under Chapter 11 case number 22-01174.
