Vesta Holdings seeks extension of exclusive plan periods

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Feb. 16 – Vesta Holdings, LLC is seeking an extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to a motion filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company asked to extend the exclusive plan filing period through May 15 and the exclusive solicitation period through July 12.

As previously reported, the company has filed a plan. A hearing on the disclosure statement is scheduled for March 2.

Vesta said it will have started soliciting votes prior to the current expiration of the exclusive periods, but it is seeking the extension out of an abundance of caution to allow enough time to tweak the plan and resolicit votes if needed.

The Montgomeryville, Pa.-based wealth advisory, risk management services and insurance brokerage services company filed bankruptcy on Oct. 30 under Chapter 11 case number 22-11019.
