S&P rates Mersin notes B

S&P said it preliminarily assigned a B rating to Mersin Uluslararasi Liman Isletmeciligi AS’ (Mersin International Port) planned five-year senior unsecured notes for up to $600 million.

The agency rates Mersin and its outstanding notes B.

Mersin will use the proceeds to refinance its $600 million of 5 3/8% notes due 2024.

The outlook is stable.
