View to sell $150 million of convertible notes in private transactions

Portland, Me., May 9 – View Inc. plans to sell a $150 million offering of convertible notes to qualified institutional buyers in private transactions, according to a company news release.

The company is in discussions with existing noteholders and institutional investors with the deal to be sold under a Securities Act registration exemption.

The notes may not be offered or sold absent a registration or applicable exemption, according to the press release.

View is a Milpitas, Calif.-based smart windows manufacturer.
