Pantheon privately places $150 million of loan notes in three parts

Chicago, Jan. 16 – Pantheon International plc placed $150 million of loan notes in three parts, according to a notice.

The notes have tenors of five, seven and 10 years. The blended coupon rate is 6.4945%.

Five North American institutional investors purchased the notes.

Proceeds from the notes will be used to partially repay drawings of £136 million under a loan facility. The blended coupon is lower than the all-in interest rate on the loan facility.

Proceeds will also be used to finance new investments and meet unfunded commitments.

The funding date is expected to be Feb. 1.

Pantheon is a United Kingdom-based closed-end investment company.
