Prospect News reports three new defaults for June 23-June 29

Olympia, Wash., July 1 – Prospect News reported three new defaults for the period of June 16 through June 22.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 filings made by Madison Square Boys & Girls Club, Inc. and Corsicana Bedding, LLC and a missed interest payment from SriLankan Airlines Ltd.

So far in 2022, Prospect News has reported 77 defaults, including 35 Chapter 11 filings, 23 missed interest payments, eight missed interest and principal payments, six Chapter 15 filings, and one each of Chapter 7 filings, reorganizations, liquidations, administrations and bankruptcy filings.

The companies that filed Chapter 11 during the week reported at least $100 million in assets and at least $200 million in liabilities.
