Knoxville, Tenn., June 12 – Capital Power Corp. placed C$325 million of senior notes in three tranches, according to a press release. National Bank of Canada Financial Inc. was the lead agent, and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. and TD Securities (USA) LLC were co-agents.
The notes include C$210 million of 4.56% 10-year notes, C$65 million of 4.72% 12-year senior notes and C$50 million of 4.96% 15-year senior notes.
Proceeds will be used for refinancing existing bank debt and other general corporate purposes.
Capital Power is an Edmonton, Alta.-based power producer.
