Hong Kong’s Blue Skyview aims to restructure 7 1/8% perpetuals

Los Angeles, June 10 – Blue Skyview Co Ltd. said it is considering a possible restructuring of its $683 million 7 1/8% senior perpetual securities (ISIN: XS1526108235).

At the same time, Hong Kong Airlines Ltd., a guarantor of the perpetual securities, is in discussion with its creditors to finalize a restructuring proposal for its debts and liabilities.

PricewaterhouseCoopers and Latham & Watkins have been engaged as financial adviser and legal adviser, respectively, to facilitate the Hong Kong Airlines restructuring. The advisors will also assist Hong Kong Airlines and Blue Skyview with any potential restructuring of the perpetual securities.

Blue Skyview is seeking to engage with as many holders as possible, so it is inviting holders to contact and disclose their holdings to information agent Morrow Sodali Ltd. (+852 2319 4130, +44 20 4513 6933, dstdisclosures@investor.morrowsodali.com) in order to facilitate any future restructuring discussions in respect of the perpetual securities.

Trading of the perpetuals on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd. has been suspended from Dec. 3, 2019 and will remain suspended until further notice.
