Fitch revises Westlake outlook to stable

Fitch Ratings said it revised the outlook for Westlake Corp. to stable from positive and affirmed the BBB long-term issuer default and unsecured debt ratings

“The revision of the outlook to stable reflects Fitch's expectation that EBITDA leverage will remain above 1.3x, with the company's improved balance sheet and balanced capital deployment strategy partially offset by a softer demand outlook in the polyethylene chain in the near to medium term,” the agency said in a press release.
