Fitch Solutions names Paladino global head corporate finance, leveraged finance and CLOs

Silver Spring, Md., June 8 – Fitch Solutions said it appointed Michael Paladino as global head of corporate finance, leveraged finance and CLOs on the ratings data & research team.

Paladino will oversee the delivery of product and content strategy for corporate, leveraged finance and CLO ratings data & research, working closely with the Fitch Solutions product, sales, marketing and business intelligence teams.

“My biggest initial challenge will be helping our Fitch Solutions clients more effectively harness all of the high-quality work being produced by the top-notch analysts within Fitch Ratings. To address this challenge, I will be listening to clients, colleagues, partners and stakeholders in order to develop a roadmap that will highlight the value of Fitch’s significantly growing presence in corporate-related financial markets, including investment-grade and high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, and CLOs,” Paladino told Prospect News.

Paladino joins Fitch Solutions from Fitch Ratings, where he was the regional group head of North American structured finance.

Initially, he will be managing a small team, but Paladino said he will have direct access to personnel across the organization as well as investment resources to execute on a core part of Fitch’s strategy.

Over his 16-year tenure at Fitch Ratings, Paladino also served as head of U.S. leveraged finance and oversaw coverage for real estate & leisure teams within Fitch's corporate finance group. He is based in New York and will report to Dan Champeau, global head of ratings, data and research.
