China Metal Resources says court accepts bankruptcy application

Los Angeles, Aug. 3 – China Metal Resources Utilization Ltd. announced that the People’s Court of Youxian District of Mianyang City, Sichuan, China, has accepted the bankruptcy reorganization application made by two of its subsidiaries.

The company received the court’s civil ruling dated July 29 on Aug. 3, according to a notice Wednesday.

The application was filed with the court on June 6 by China Metal’s wholly owned subsidiary, Mianyang Tongxin Copper Co., Ltd., and Tongxin’s wholly owned subsidiary, Mianyang Jin Xunhuan Metal Materials Co., Ltd., as previously reported.

The Mianyang, China, company is a manufacturer of recycled copper products, communication cables and power transmission and distribution lines.
