New Issue: HSBC sells $5.01 million autocallable Strategic Accelerated Redemption Securities on ETF

Buffalo, N.Y., Oct. 4 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $5.01 million autocallable Strategic Accelerated Redemption Securities due Sept. 29, 2028 linked to the VanEck Gold Miners ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be automatically called at an annualized call premium of 13.1% if the closing level of the ETF is greater than or equal to its initial level on any annual determination date, including maturity.

Investors will receive par if the ETF declines by no more than 15% and will lose 1% for every 1% that the ETF declines beyond 15%.
