Country Garden to offer up to RMB 20 billion medium-term notes

Buffalo, N.Y., Jan. 31 – China’s Country Garden Holdings Co. Ltd. announced on Tuesday that its wholly owned subsidiary, Country Garden Property Group Co., Ltd., received authorization to issue up to RMB 20 billion of medium-term notes.

According to the announcement, the Jan. 29 authorization permits the company to issue the aggregate total in tranches over the course of two years.

Country Garden is a Foshan, China, real estate developer.
