New Issue: India's Canara Bank sells Rs. 4 billion of 10-year tier II bonds

New York, March 26 - Canara Bank plans to sell Rs. 4 billion of 10-year redeemable unsecured tier II bonds in the form of promissory notes, according to a statement filed with the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The bonds will carry an interest rate of 9.90%.

Canara Bank is a commercial and consumer bank headquartered in Bangalore.

Issuer: Canara Bank

Amount: Rs. 4 billion

Issue: Redeemable unsecured tier II bonds

Maturity: March 28, 2017

Coupon: 9.90%

Pricing date:March 26
Settlement date: March 28
