Bahrain to issue dollar-denominated two-part sukuk, bond offering

Lexington, Ky., April 6 – The Kingdom of Bahrain acting through the Ministry of Finance and National Economy is planning a two-part offering, according to a notice.

The kingdom will issue two dollar-denominated tranches, a long seven-year sukuk senior note tranche and a 12-year senior note tranche.

The issuer will be CBB International Sukuk Program Co. WLL.

The bookrunners include J.P. Morgan Securities plc, Citi, HSBC, First Abu Dhabi Bank, National Bank of Bahrain and Standard Chartered and Bank ABC.
