S&P gives Setanta facility BBB

S&P said it gave its BBB issue-level rating to Setanta Aircraft Leasing DAC's upcoming senior secured credit facility. Setanta parent AerCap Holdings NV, which the agency rates BBB, will guarantee the facility.

Proceeds will be used to fund a portion of the purchase price payable by AerCap to General Electric Co. for the acquisition of GE Capital Aviation Services and for general corporate purposes of AerCap and its subsidiaries.
