Prospect News reports three new defaults for Feb. 1-Feb. 7

Olympia, Wash., Feb. 9 – Prospect News reported three new defaults for Feb. 1 through Feb. 7.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 filings by Cano Health, Inc., NanoString Technologies, Inc. and Byju's Alpha, Inc. (Think & Learn Private Ltd.).

So far in 2024, Prospect News has reported 19 total defaults, including 11 Chapter 11 filings, two each of liquidations and missed principal payments, and one each of CCAA filings, Chapter 15 filings, Chapter 7 filings and missed interest payments.

The companies that filed Chapter 11 during the week reported at least $1.98 billion in assets and $2.29 billion in liabilities.
