Advisors Disciplined Trust 809 offers Navellier/Dial High Income units

San Diego, Jan. 13 - Advisors Disciplined Trust 809 is offering units of its Advisors Corporate Trust - Navellier/Dial High Income Opportunities Portfolio Series 43, according to an S-6 amendment filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The depositor is Monument, Colo.-based Advisors Asset Management, Inc.

The trust seeks to provide current interest income and capital preservation by investing in a portfolio consisting primarily of interest-bearing corporate debt obligations rated investment-grade quality as of the trust's inception. The portfolio was selected by Navellier & Associates, Inc. with assistance from Dial Capital Management, LLC.

On the trust's inception date, Jan. 13, there is $23,086,740 of contracts to purchase underlying securities. The 23,924 units each have a public offering price of $1,000, of which $915.40 reflects the principal amount of securities per unit, and a net asset value of $965.

The estimated current return is 6.08%, and the estimated long-term return is 4.61%. The estimated net annual interest income per unit is $60.75.

The units have a maximum sales fee of 3%. The fee may be reduced on a sliding scale to 1.5% depending on the number of units purchased.

The weighted average maturity of securities in the trust is 5.28 years.
