Emerging markets calendar: Impsa talks $250 million seven-year notes at 11¼%

BANCO DE CREDITO DEL PERU: $160 million nuevo sol-denominated 15-year subordinated bond (Baa3/BB+/BB+); Morgan Stanley; Rule 144A/Regulation S; non-callable for 10 years; interest rates fixed for the first 10 years, then adjusted semi-annually to 150 bps plus yield to maturity of Peru's sovereign due 2037; Lima, Peru-based commercial and investment bank; roadshow held in London on Oct. 1, in New York on Oct. 2, Los Angeles on Oct. 3 and Boston on Oct. 4; pricing to follow.

EMPRESA DE ENERGIA DE BOGOTA: Bond offering; ABN Amro; Bogota, Colombia-based producer and distributor of electricity.

IMPSA: $250 million seven-year amortizing senior unsecured bonds (/B/B); non-callable for four years; Merrill Lynch; pricing expected Oct. 10; Mendoza, Argentina-based wind and hydropower producer; price guidance 11¼% .

ODEBRECHT FINANCE SA: $200 million in 10-year senior unsecured notes (BB+/BB); Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse (joint books); Rule 144A/Regulation S; high yield-style calls in year five; proceeds will be used to fund subsidiaries' activities; Bahia, Brazil-based engineering and construction company; roadshow will be held between Oct. 8 and Oct. 10 in London, Boston, New York, the New York area, and Los Angeles; price guidance 8%.

OCTOBER

AZERBAIJAN: Debut sovereign bond issue (Ba1//BB+); Deutsche Bank, Citigroup (joint books); expected September-October business.

OAO GAZPROM: Benchmark-sized euro-denominated bond; Citigroup, Societe Generale (joint books); expected in October; Moscow-based oil company.

GERDAU: Between $500 million and $1 billion 10-year bond (Ba2//BBB-); JP Morgan; Porto Alegre, Brazil-based steel manufacturer.

SRI LANKA: Sovereign offering; Barclays Capital, HSBC, JP Morgan (joint books); Rule 144A/Regulation S; roadshow ends Oct. 16.

ON THE HORIZON

BANK MANDIRI: $300 million three-year deal; expected in October or November; Jakarta, Indonesia-based commercial and retail bank.

BMCE: Euro-dominated 10-year fixed-rate bonds; non-callable for five-years; Casablanca, Morocco-based commercial and investment bank.

CIKARANG LISTRINDO: $425 million seven-year senior secured note issue (Ba3/BB-/); UBS; proceeds for debt refinancing, capex and general corporate purposes; Jakarta, Indonesia-based natural gas and electricity company; roadshow ended July 24, pricing to follow.

HUNGARY: Benchmark-sized samurai bond (A2/BBB+/BBB+); Mizuho Securities, Nikko Citigroup (joint books); proceeds for general financing.

LITHUANIA: Benchmark-sized euro-dominated bond; Societe General, UBS (joint books).

VIETNAM: 10-year local-currency sovereign worth up to $1 billion, expected; Barclays, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank (joint books); deal expected in September.
