L'Occitane official committee of unsecured creditors appointed

Olympia, Wash., Feb. 16 – L'Occitane, Inc.’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed by Regions 3 and 9 U.S. trustee Andrew R. Vara, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

The committee members are Ronald M. Tucker of Simon Property Group, based in Indianapolis; Julie Minnick Bowden of Brookfield Properties Retail, Inc., based in Chicago; Stephen E. Ifeduba of Washington Prime Group, Inc., based in Columbus, Ohio; Justin Kleinman of Astor Retail Strategic Venture, LLC, based in New York; and Morris Terzi of 63 Spring Lafayette, LLC, based in New York.

L'Occitane is a New York-based retail chain that sells and promotes beauty and well-being products. The company filed bankruptcy on Jan. 26 under Chapter 11 case number 21-10632.
